What is a dbilas dynamic multi throttle body intake system? The multi-throttle body intake systems produced by Dbilas are the successor of their double carburetor kits.
As is the case for the double carburetor kits the objective here is also the optimum respiration of the engine. For this reason, instead of the central throttle body used to supply air to all cylinders in the conventional intake systems, this system has one throttle body for each cylinder - meaning more air for each!
Another advantage of the dbilas dynamic multi-throttle body intake systems is that it offers the possibility of using more aggressive camshafts without effecting drivability.
A main advantage of Dbilas throttle bodies over other types is the integration with the factory hardware. As much as possible is retained and as many original sensors are integrated into the kit to retain factory like reliability. This includes injectors, air flow sensors or meters, throttle switches and idle control valves.
After conversion an adjustment of the engine management is required. You have to match the additional air with fuel. If software is not available for your car from Dbilas, you can use the Dbilas Engine Control Unit (available separately)
