 | 2008 Carrera Cup with Redesign Racing Regal Autosport are proud to be supporting Tony Gilham in another season of motorsport.
After the taking the 2007 VW Cup championship title at the wheel of the Regal Autosport/GIAC VW Golf Mk5 GTi the decision was made to progress to Porsche Cup Racing for 2008.
Securing one of a limited number of 2008 spec cars the team will be campaigning the car under the "Redesign Racing" banner, a project put together by Regal Autosport and Design911 with trackside support from Little Mote Garage in Eynsford, Kent.
The championship is a support series to the British Touring Car Championship and will be visiting all the major British racing circuits throughout the season.

 | Tony Gilham with Regal Autosport & GIAC - VW Racing Cup 2007 Champions! We are proud to announce that Tony Gilham & Regal Autosport are 2007 VW Racing Cup champions!
The title went down to the last meeting of the season at Rockingham in Corby, Northants but Tony Gilham clinched the title in Race one of the weekend in his Regal Autosport prepared, GIAC backed MK5 Golf Gti.
The season has been an interesting insight for all of the team. Building the car up from a road car to championship winner in 9 months is no mean feat! Tony was the only driver in the field to score points in every race of the season, the car's consistent pace and proven reliability have greatly aided the quest to take the title.
For all those involved in helping make this happen everyone at Regal Autosport would like to pass on our thanks and hope that the relationships generated over the course of the season can build in the future. |
